    Khaner Walker, Founder & CEO

    Khaner’s career has spanned all areas of communications. He’s held leadership positions with global, publicly traded companies in both technology and pharma, spearheaded the public affairs team at PR Daily’s 2022 Midsize Agency of the Year, was a reporter in the NC Capital Press Corp, and led communications for a startup on its way to an IPO.

    He is now sharing his extensive corporate experience and agency background across multiple industries with clients in founding ArcSense Communications.

    He has been published in communications textbooks and online outlets, was featured in PRWeek for his work in leading one of the world’s first corporate communications responses to the COVID-19 pandemic and is a frequent guest and speaker on industry focused podcasts and events.

  • Anna Rose

    Anna Rose, VP & Head of Music and Life Sciences

    Anna “Rosie” Rose is a results-driven communications professional with extensive B2B, PR, and brand storytelling experience. As a former Director of Public Relations in Miami, Anna worked on a variety of accounts and capacities, including crisis communications for tech companies, brand activations for professional athletes, and venue coordination for Art Basel.

    Previously, Rosie was a News Reporter for Curtis Media Group’s WPTF and a B2B Marketing Specialist for iCMOs in the Triangle.

    Rosie obtained a dual MS/MBA in Media Management from the University of Miami’s Herbert Business School, and hosted an award-winning radio show on WKNC 88.1 FM as Rainbow Riot. A former Neuropharmacology and Cognitive Science researcher at the College of Veterinary Medicine, she is also a proud Phi Bete, dog mom, and polyglot.

    Aaron Barnes, Sr. Account Manager

    Aaron's journey as a communications professional has been anything but ordinary. He formed his communications skills while a U.S. Army Special Operations Officer, shaping worldwide narratives and engaging key stakeholders.

    Combining real-world experience with academic expertise, Aaron holds an MBA from UNC Chapel Hill, a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Communications from Appalachian State University, and a BA in Political Science from Wake Forest University. His global perspective is shaped by living and working abroad in Europe and the Middle East and speaking Italian and Arabic enhances his ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.

    Aaron helps organizations turn ideas into powerful, purpose-driven narratives through a passion for storytelling, a sharp strategic mindset, and a knack for translating complex ideas into clear content.

  • Daniel Burkett

    Daniel Burkett, Digital Marketing Manager

    Dan is a results-driven marketing professional with extensive experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, and relationship management. His background spans a decade across agency and B2B SaaS, where he has consistently delivered high-impact marketing for clients in industries including Healthcare IT, Revenue Cycle Management, Data, Analytics, and Financial Services.

    At the Raleigh-based agency Excelerent, Dan oversaw the strategic expansion of several enterprise accounts. As a Growth Marketing Manager at insightsoftware, he owned the customer marketing for a portfolio of mid-market embedded analytics and business intelligence products. His strategic approach contributed to the team achieving 99% of marketing-attributed pipeline goals and 110% of bookings goals in 2023, while his efforts in 2024 generated more than $5 million in marketing-attributed pipeline and bookings. Leveraging his unique background, Dan brings a unique business perspective centered around analytical thinking, agile execution, and strategic growth.

  • Curt Wrenn

    Curt Wrenn, Video Production Manager

    ArcSense’s first intern turned employee. Curt is a 2025 graduate from North Carolina State University in which he attained two degrees. English with a Film Concentration and Communication with a Media Concentration. These degrees guided his insight into understanding the filmic visual language and the production process that is required to create such works. Through the Communication Internship Course at NC State he began working at ArcSense as a Video Production Intern. 

    Since graduating he has transitioned into the Video Production Manager. He understands all things video and audio production which have aided in establishing artistic and successful content for musicians, corporations, and nonprofit organizations.

    He is an award winning Short Filmmaker. Storytelling in all media drives him to creative works from poetry, literature, music and film. His favorite films that he relentlessly has on rewatch are Whiplash (Chazell, 2014) and Star Wars (Lucas, 1977).

    Zachery Limer, Communications Intern

    Zachery is a senior at UNC’s Hussman School of Journalism and Media and Entrepreneurship studying Advertising and Public Relations in the Shuford Program in Entrepreneurship. He has always been drawn to the power of storytelling—whether it’s through a brand campaign, or a good song on a summer drive. Zachery loves using creativity and strategy to connect people, spark ideas, and build things that feel both thoughtful and impactful.

    Outside the classroom, you’ll probably find Zachery at a concert or catching a beach sunset. He brings a strong work ethic, collaborative mindset, and genuine excitement for all things communication, especially when it means thinking outside the box. Whether he’s helping a brand find its voice or brainstorming the next big idea, he’s always up for the challenge.

    Karen Hagens, KTH Communications

    Karen a senior communications leader with more than 25 years of healthcare communication experience. Karen’s experience in house, at an agency and as a journalist provide her a unique lens to tackle communications through the eyes of the audience.

    Karen recently led Global Corporate Communications at Worldwide Clinical Trials, a leading mid-sized CRO based in Research Triangle Park, NC. She was tasked with rebuilding and inspiring an underperforming team during a time of explosive company growth from 1700 employees to 3000. She previously served as Sr. VP and Director at APCO Worldwide, where she was immersed in the Covid-19 space through client vaccines and diagnostics work, focusing on Government and Public Relations.

    Prior, Karen spent 15 years at GSK, leading internal and external communications for U.S. Pharma, setting a unified strategy, and working with senior executives to build the company’s profile and drive value across its portfolio. This vast experience, including five years as a broadcast journalist and a sales representative for GSK and, Bayer Healthcare gives Karen a unique understanding of how to develop dynamic communication campaigns for complex topics.
